	NEO Moves to the Centre for Excellence in Events How often have you heard us say that NEO will move to the new Centre for Excellence in Events and that the new C4EE will have its formal launch? Events Jobs & Training
	The Events Industry Skillnet has a new network manager, to be announced over the coming days along with the training plan. The steering group (members management committee) is now chaired by Elaine O'Connor of Magnum Events (she's been so effective all year), with the amazingly able and energetic Maria McMenamin of Eriva as Vice Chairperson. 	It was brilliant to hear from Una O'Neill Thornbury how Company Occasions go about delivering innovative and interactive events. And to hear from Ovation Ireland of their award from SITE as well as the new Argentina Office for Ovation Global. Eva Acton whose wonderful Floral Expressions have graced many an event has opened up a retail outlet Dundrum Blooms. Farewell to Michelle Bailly who has headed back to Canada. Around the Town
	I had loads of fun out and about over the last while - recessionary times do mean you get out to meet more people. The ISES information evening in the CCD premises in Barrow St was a terrific evening, loads of old friends there and a terrific presentation. The Events Industry Skillnet 12 Mistakes of Christmas enlightened and entertained. The CCD Christmas Reception was even better.. . Read more...
