Established in 1973, the Irish Association of Pension Funds (IAPF) is a non-profit organisation which represents its members which include occupational pension schemes. On behalf of its members, the IAPF seeks to influence the future direction of pensions in Ireland and is seen as the authoritative voice of pensions in Ireland in its dealings with legislators and regulators. A vacancy will shortly become available for the position of Marketing & Events Officer.
The Position
As Marketing & Events Officer the role will include:
Organising all IAPF events, including annual conferences, monthly seminars, training courses, annual dinner and annual golf outing.
Ensuring that all events are organised to a high standard and are operated on a commercially successful basis.

The successful candidate should have
Proven marketing and event management skills
The ability to work within a team environment
Excellent organisation, communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills
A flexible approach and an ability to function under pressure to deadlines
A results oriented approach
Good IT skills
Pension & Investment experience is desirable but not essential
The Qualifications
We are looking for a dynamic individual with at least 2 years' relevant experience. A business/marketing and/or event management qualification is essential.
